Alfie was bred by Mrs Claire Mills of Malwood Walk Stables in Newtown, Minstead, Hampshire and was bought by Paul and I as a 4 year old in November 2002, from Louise Ettridge. 

Alfie's competition career only really started in 2011, due to personal commitments of ours in starting the farm, and building a house!   I BD dressaged him as a 5 year old for about 6 months and then the 7 year "rest period" started. 

Then April 2011 was here and his competition career started, showjumping!!  The 12 year old was just like a 3 year old, gawping at everything but enjoyed the showjumping so much that soon he became more fixated with the jumps than what was around him.  Alfie and I over the coming 3 years enjoyed great success showjumping and his confidence was awesome and he turned into a jumping machine. 

Alfie is now no longer with us, lost to colic, but I have the most amazing memories of jumping this awesome horse !!!
